Selling On EBay - No Need To Open A Paypal Account On EBay?

Have you ever wondered, should I use PayPal to receive payment on eBay?

If you've ever seen an ad on eBay, it is likely that the seller is to use Paypal as one of their payment methods. So if you open an account, so you can sell using this method?

Paypal is one of the most popular methods of payment on eBay today. Probably because it is so easy to set up and it allows buyers to pay each other securely online. The buyer feels safe because they are not giving their credit card or bank details directly to the seller, and the seller gets the payment immediately.

If you only plan on listing a few things, then it's probably better to just set up a Personal Account for now, you can always upgrade to the Business Account at a later stage if you find your eBay business is increasing.

It also makes things a lot harder if you are trying to list your item to be sold internationally. Getting Verified is a simple process, once you've set up your account including your bank details, Paypal will deposit a small mount of money into your account, then you need to let them know how much money they've put in so that they can confirm it really is your account. You'll also need to let them know your phone number and address.

Once you are set up you just check the option on the eBay sellers
